On Wednesday, April the 26th, St.Ambrose Barlow RCH School hosted it very own fashion parade! Pupils from the school were suited and booted for a strut along the catwalk.
The attire, for the event, was provided by a number of high street establishments. Felicity hat hire, as the name suggests, provided the hats for the event. While others such as Vicky Martin, Bayliss and Knight, Marks and Spencers provide the bulk of the garments on display. Entry was £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 16's.
Clothing vouchers and a hamper were given away on the night as raffle prizes. The event was staged as an enjoyable way to raise money for a year eleven year book. The final year models, from St.Ambrose Barlow RCH School, will now have to be putting the catwalk aside and knuckling down to some GCSE revision.
Before they get down to their important revision however, I'm sure the pupils would join with us in thanking the support staff from Smart Alec Young Enterprise Company for all their efforts. Jenny Benger, Lorna Kearns Walker, Christine Thompson and Louise Readman have worked very hard to bring the school an exceptionally enjoyable event, so thanks once again to them. Well done everybody!!
